LED Strip Light: Animated new button #1
 LED Strip LIGHT Flex is a low voltage (12 or 24 volt DC) Super Bright LED lighting in a flexible ultra sleek thin PCB strip that is available in three varieties. Regular Flex strip type A (suitable for dry location) with double sided 3M tape and open printed circuit. Type B with a encapsulated plastic Gel and a double sided 3M tape (protective cover). Type C has a loose protective Silicone cover.

Designed for the lighting professional, this lighting can be used for architectural lighting, sign letter light, concealed lighting perimeter lighting and many other applications.  The base is flat and flexible on one axis. Type C Can and can be easily mount onto most flat surfaces VIA silicone glue or enclosed clips. Type A and B feature a  easy stick on backing and it's small size and low voltage makes this lighting ideal for a wide range of applications for commercial lighting. Typically it is twice as bright as LED Rope lighting, can be cut to size by at marked intervals (by electricians) and rejoined by soldering or using our quick connectors at marked interval points. Always install according to local electrical codes requirements for your area.

FAQ
1) Can the LED Flex Strip be cut?
Typically, at marked intervals, the LED Flex Strip can be separated; you can cut every 3 LEDS for 12VDC and for 6 LEDS 24VDC (always read instructions enclosed before proceeding.
2) Is 24VDC brighter than 12vdc?
Typically, no and should be the same brightness. The wattage and the efficiency of the LED determine the LED Brightness. We use the most efficiency LED watt per lumens ratio 3528 SMD LEDs and 5050 SMDs.
3) Is the LED Flex Strip Dimmable?
Yes with certain type of dimming controllers and dimmable transformers. Switching power supplies are not dimmable.

    TYPE A: (12v) Regular LED FLEXSTRIP:  PCB (Flexible  Printed Circuit board) material with 3M double sided tape. For dry locations (INDOOR). Easy to rejoin. Use only on smooth surfaces such as glass. For use with Channel track UT-3-6p (see below). Note that not all items noted are UL recognized. TYPE B: Like type A, but has a protective encapsulated plastic Gel on top of the PCB material with 3M double sided tape on bottom. The Gel cover can be pealed back up to 1 inch to access the connection points if cutting is required. TYPE C: Like type A, except PCB material is covered with a loose Silicone cover. Water resistant cover (IP54) and indoor type . Easy to access solder points to rejoin. Mounts to most surfaces with clips or silicone glue.

    Note that you need a 12 volt  power supply to power one roll of the 12 volt Flex Strip below. It is NOT included. Optional Power supplies are located here.
     Note that the connectors (power source) for type A, B and C are for dry locations only. Certain electrical precautions must be taken and follow all local code requirements.  Maximum length of 12VDC Ribbon Flex strip is is per roll size, do not extend. Consulted with a licensed electrician for electrical code requirements before proceeding with install and read all instructions enclosed in packaging. Use with Class two type power supplies. Roll length sold below are sold in there maximum lengths (do not extended).

     Can the LED Flex Strip be Cut and rejoined?

    • LED Flex Strip can be cut at marked intervals by qualified electricians. For 12v the mark is every 3 LEDS and for 24vdc the mark is every 6 LEDS however please refer to the enclosed instructions before proceeding.

    • LED Flex Strip can be rejoined by two methods. One, by soldering wires to the marked solder points or by using the our Quick Connect connectors. These connectors ONLY work with LED WORLD's LIGHTING LED Flex Strip models. Refer the enclosed instructions before proceeding as there is more important safety details. Quick connectors cannot be used with doublebright Flex Strip.

    Channel track: allows you to to create straight perimeter outlines on most surfaces while protecting the Flex Strip. Channel is a plastic material that can be easily attached to most surfaces such as wood, metal and brick. Required for LED Flex Strip model  TYPE A. Comes in 3 foot  (36" x 5/8" x 3/8") long pieces that can be cut  to size. For indoor use only (dry).
